People just disappeared!!!  Like, lots and lots of people just vanished!  All over the world, millions of people disappeared.  What the heck just happened?  People are freaking out.  What on earth just happened?  This does not make sense! People don't just disappear!!

 

I can only imagine the confusion and the chaos and the fear that is going on.  I am sure there a lot of theories.  I am sure the world governments will come up with some sort of explanation .  I am also sure the governments will not share the truth of what happened.  They may say it was some unknown virus that made people dissipate, or an electrode-magnatic anomaly or some other scientific explanation.  They may also announce that everyone is hiding somewhere or maybe even aliens will be to blame.  I can only guess what explanation will be produced.

As I write this, I personally am writing about a future event.  The date I am writing is September 1, 2020.  The disappearances have not yet happened.   I do not know when it will happen, and I do not know how many people.  But I do know that masses of people from all over the world will disappear at the same time.  What happened?  Where are they?  Will they be back?

What everyone who disappeared had in common?

 

This event was planned by God long before you or I were born.  I encourage you to look at the "getting started" page because that will explain the basic story of how God created a perfect world, how He created you and me, how humans sinned and ruined that perfect world and how the relationship between God and humans was broken, how God made a plan to restore that relationship, how He carried out that plan (Jesus coming to earth to pay the penalty for sin).  What that page will not explain is the plans that God has made that have not yet happened.  God does have a plan to restore that perfect world!  And it is coming very, very soon!  The disappearances was on purpose.  It was the rapture of the church- when God took everyone who had placed their hope and faith in Jesus.

What did everyone who disappeared have in common? They all had a saving faith in Jesus.  Perhaps people are missing that you did not know were followers of Jesus.  Maybe ALL of the children are gone.  Maybe you knew people that were claimed to be Christians, yet they were not taken.  ?  What is that about.  Just going to church is not enough. Just believing that Jesus is real is not enough. Working really hard to be a good person is not enough. A person must believe in their heart that Jesus is Lord, they must admit their need and confess their sins and they must surrender the control of their life, their decisions, their heart- all to God.  It is a relationship with the true, living God.  It is not about how much good you do.  It is not about following the rules well enough.   Everyone who disappeared from the earth had placed their hope and faith in Jesus (or perhaps were not mentally able make the choice).

The Bible does not specify exactly what will happen to children and mentally impaired who are unable to understand their need for Jesus and ask Him for forgiveness.  Perhaps all of the children were also raptured.  I honestly do not know. The Bible does not clearly state one way or another.  I am guessing it as a possibility.  I write this with full assurance that I will be among those taken.  I know God and I love Him with my whole heart. Since I have placed my faith in Jesus, I have confidence that I will happily be among those taken.  My hope is this website will be a good starting point to help you find truth and hope.

Where are they now?  Will they come back?

The event of the rapture is explained in the Bible in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 "we will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord." So where are the ones who disappeared from earth?  They are with the Lord and will be so always.  They will not come back.  While this is a sad truth for everyone left of earth, this is a happy truth for those who were taken.  "They are in a better place" is not just some thing people say to make themselves feel better.  For those who have placed their hope and faith in Jesus, they truly are in a wonderful place.

What about everyone left on earth?

It s not too late for you!!!  For everyone left on earth, there is still hope!  Even those who missed the rapture can, and most certainly should, still seek a relationship with Jesus and be forgiven of your sins and be brought up to be with the LORD when you die.   God promises that if you put your faith in Him, you will never be alone nor forsaken.  He promises to be with you, giving you help, strength, wisdom and comfort.  He also promises to be all that you ever need.  Click below to find out more of what is going to happen next.  It is not too late, but the time is short.  The end is near.
